Rooted In Truth - Build

Rooted in Truth

For every season, there is a reason… a time to tear down and a time to build up.

As we begin the start of a new school year. I am reminded that this season is focused on building up my home. And I would like to share how I have been renovating my home over the years.

We have been homeschooling for a total of 5 years 2 part-time. I'm no expert and choosing to take on this assignment has not been an easy one. But it has come with much hope for the future, renewed faith, and a new heart for the building process and family unit.

There have been times of much sacrifice and hardship. There were seasons where I had to tear down walls of shame, mom guilt, comparison, and feelings of not being enough. I had to remove feelings of anxiety, fear, & regret. And begin to build up a new heart and solid foundation on the rock. The rock of my salvation. Did you know that

One of the Names of God is Yahweh Tsuri. It means rock, refuge, redeemer, and savior.

You have been built on the foundation made up of the emissaries and prophets, with Messiah Yeshua Himself being the cornerstone. In Him the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple for the Lord.

Ephesians 2:20‭-‬21 TLV

In relation to architecture, a cornerstone is traditionally the first stone laid for a structure and is the point of reference for all other stones. This stone is pivotal for the rest of the build to continue and brings all other stones into perfect alignment.

So what is your foundation built on??

When walls come crumbling down, do you stand on the rock?

Are you building with God?

In Hebrew, the word for build is banah. This word means to build, construct, and restore. The root Hebrew letters in banah are hey, nun, and bet. I have covered the bet many times in my other blogs. This letter represents a house, household, family, and something in or within.

The nun is a seed, continued hier, & son.

Hey is a picture of a man with raised arms and means to look, reveal, worship, and breath.

Together they form the "house that continues to breathe."

I just LOVE how our Father speaks through these pictographic messages and through the Hebrew language. As I did a little more digging. I discovered that the Hebrew word for house bayith is related to the Hebrew word leb which means heart.

Yeshua models this same heart for building up His Father's house. In John 2:13-22 Yeshua is consumed with Zeal. He basically cleans out house! He destroys their altars and cleanses the temple. Talk about tearing down!

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain… Psalms 127:1

Let us not labor in vain! When we build our spiritual and physical homes in alignment to our Master Builder. We continue to breathe life and the Heartbeat of Messiah Yeshua our Chief Cornerstone. We are like the wise builder mentioned in Proverbs 14:1

The spiritual act of building our house may require some deep cleaning, tearing down idols, and being consumed with Zeal and destroying all that no longer serves purpose in our dwelling places. Within our hearts and in our homes. As we tear down. May we Build up even stronger!!

"The Biblical Role of Women Part Vlll"

Here are 5 Keys she shares on How a Wise Woman Builds

Key 1: A woman begins to build with the spirit of binah — the spirit that separates and discerns.

Key 2: A woman builds upon the firm foundation of the man (especially the Son of Man).

Key 3: Sometimes the house must be rebuilt.

Key 4: The Holy Spirit fills the House of Adonai. The woman fills her house with a “spirit” as well. A wise woman will build with the Holy Spirit which brings the liberty needed to grow and mature.

Key 5: A woman filled with the Holy Spirit enables the immature to hear (know) the Words of Adonai. Like the Holy Spirit, she brings intimacy to the relationship.
